Clean your windows to a professional standard
Category: Window Cleaning
You're left wondering how the professional cleaners are able to leave them gleaming when you can't get the same effect, but it turns out, it's all in the tools you're using and your technique.
First of all, put that spray cleaner back in the cupboard and arm yourself with a bucket of warm water with a squirt of liquid soap. Make sure you don't use too much soap though - less is more when it comes to cleaning the windows.
Then, apply the soapy water to the windows with a cloth, which should loosen the dirt without scratching the glass.
Now it's time to grab your squeegee and pull it over the panes to remove the soap. Work from top to bottom following an S pattern, and make sure you wipe the squeegee blade clean after each stroke.
Finally, use a chamois cloth to remove any excess soapy water from the corners and edges of the panes. This will allow you to soak up the moisture, but won't leave behind any streaks.
However, this can take quite a bit of time and can be quite difficult when you're trying to reach those upstairs windows. So instead of battling with that ladder and a bucket of water, why not call in an expert window cleaner instead?
This way, you're kept safe on the ground, while the professionals get up there and do their thing, leaving your windows sparkling.
For such a small amount of money, it really is worth it don't you think?
