What did you forget to clean in your home?
Category: Professional Cleaning
Some of the most easily forgotten things are door handles, light switches and buttons. You may not think this is a major issue, but have you thought about all of the germs our hands come into contact with each and every day?
If you've been cooking, using the toilet, or even cleaning, your hands are picking up germs. However, a quick spritz with disinfectant and a clean cloth will eradicate lasting germs from these surfaces.
Another culprit is your kitchen sponge, which many people forget to replace or clean on a regular basis. We use these to clean almost every surface in the home, so it goes without saying that they're a popular home for germs.
Your sponges can be cleaned by soaking them in disinfectant, or popping them in the microwave for a few seconds. You should also make sure to replace them regularly to be sure you're keeping germs and bacteria at bay.
You'd also be surprised by how much bacteria can accumulate on your chopping boards. However, they are a hotbed for cross contamination - particularly if you use the same board for different purposes. Make sure that you thoroughly clean chopping boards after every use with hot water and soap, and try to use just one for raw meat to ensure the bacteria doesn't spread.
The best results will come from calling in the professionals to help, as they will know all of the places to focus on and make sure nothing is left. This way, you can relax knowing that your home is as germ-free as possible.
