Get your oven sparkling clean
Category: Professional Cleaning
The failure to remove burnt-on grime, grease, oils and even food can result in a build up of carbon within your oven. This in turn can create unwanted smells, tastes that taint your food and can also represent a fire hazard.
That is why cleaning out the oven is so important, but that doesn’t make it any more enjoyable. It can require some serious elbow grease, plenty of time and, of course, the correct tools for the task.
But before you start, double check whether you have a self-cleaning oven. If so, you may be able to remove all of that grime by heating the cooker to a certain temperature. The heat then turns the grime to ash.
If you do not have such an oven, then a specialised, heavy-duty, cleaning spray will be required if you want to get it back to its best.
Thick foaming sprays will be your best bet, as these are able to stick to problematic areas, allowing you to work them into the stains. In contrast, sprays with a thinner consistency may run as soon as they are applied, making it difficult to tackle tough stains.
Racks should be removed from the oven and soaked in warm water to allow any grime to be easily wiped away. While the racks are removed you can clean the inside of the oven with warm water.
If you’re still having problems getting the results you desire, then it is time to call in the experts? Why not make your life easier by hiring a cleaning company? They know all of the tricks and so can get your oven sparkling clean in no time.
