Last year, a report entitled 'Health, Wellbeing and Productivity in Offices: The Next Chapter for Green Building' published by the World Green Building Council, revealed that a clean and well-ventilated office can boost staff productivity by up to 11 per cent.
Additionally, it also found that offices that are built according to environmental and architectural standards are likely to be more sustainable and encourage greater productivity from those who work within them.
For this reason, both managers staff should ensure office cleaning is carried out regularly, or bacteria could easily spread and leave people vulnerable to infection, especially in the kitchen.
To truly leave workplaces in a tidy, organised condition, office cleaners should be hired to help with the work, creating a sparkling environment that staff will feel proud to work in.
With a wide variety of foods being eaten in kitchens, it is vital that the area is properly cleaned, or the risk of infection will be high.
