The benefits of cleaning with microfibre
Category: House Cleaners
Microfibre mops and cleaning cloths can really make your life easier. Not only are they more hygienic than their standard counterparts, they are also much more effective at shifting dirt.
What's more, if you use microfibre you cut down on the need for chemical cleaning solutions, making them better for your health and the environment.
So how do they work? Well, unlike standard cloths, microfibre cloths are made from lots and lots of tiny microscopic fibres that are able to attach themselves to the smallest of dirt particles.
The positive charge that's created when the fibres rub together helps to lift dirt out of tiny surface pores and crevices and keep it locked away in the cloth, until it is washed away with hot water.
You can use microfibre for all manner of house cleaning tasks, from dusting and wiping down kitchen countertops to polishing taps and cleaning floors.
To remove dust, use a dry microfibre cloth, which will act as a magnet and hold onto the dust particles rather than simply pushing them around.
Used damp, they can remove stubborn dirt from numerous household surfaces without the help of detergent. They're great for the bathroom and kitchen.
When you've cleaned your windows and used a squeegee to remove excess water, polish over them with a microfibre cloth and you'll be amazed at the streak-free finish.
Microfibre is so effective and so versatile that it's frequently used by professional home cleaners, so why not enjoy the same results yourself?
Just make sure you wash your microfibre cloths and mops regularly to get rid of all the grime they suck up. Some products are machine washable, so check the manufacturer's instructions first.
