Tackle computer before the contract cleaners come in
Category: Contract Cleaning
According to Melissa D'Costa, writing on The Times of India, there are a few tips that can really help out when it comes to cleaning computers.
Firstly, after the contract cleaners have left and the individual is ready to start cleaning their computer, it is essential to turn the laptop off - a simple step but one that could be easily overlooked.
A damp cloth can usually be used to wipe down the screen, although alcohol or cleaners with ammonia in them should not come into contact with it, and never spray cleaners directly onto the computer.
Furthermore, a toothbrush or vacuum can then be used to get all the crumbs and other bits up.
Some people will worry that their keyboard is irreversibly dirty, but if it is a particular mess one bit of advice offered by the expert is to remove the keys individually before wiping beneath them with a cotton swab dipped in cleaning solution.
Contract cleaners can then come in and do their job to make the rest of the office shine.
