Fight back against invisible germs
Category: Cleaning Companies
While dust, stains and fingerprints may look unsightly, it's invisible germs that are the biggest problem of a messy home.
Yet for some reason, many people overlook these, preferring instead to concentrate on the aesthetics. Quite simply, if the house looks clean, then it is clean, so time to put away the duster and relax.
Fortunately, tackling germs is just as easy as tackling dust. Above all, you just need to target your efforts. So, this means using disinfectant wipes to tackle germy hotspots, in particular door knobs, cupboard handles and taps.
Unlike vacuuming, which you may want to just do once a week, wiping down these hotspots should, ideally, be done every couple of days, and maybe even more during the summer months when sweaty hands are passing through the home.
One other useful tip for fighting back against invisible germs in the home is to embrace sunlight. Darkness is ideal for germs, serving as a breeding ground, so make natural light your cleaning ally.
For example, after you've washed your clothes, leave them to dry in the sunshine and then, if possible, keep them hung up on the wall rather than throwing them into a dark cupboard where the germs will be encouraged to start breeding again. Similarly, be wary of storing your toothbrush in a dark bathroom medicine cabinet - instead pop them into a glass and let the sunlight shine down on your brush.
But if you really want to make sure you banish both the stains you can see and the germs you can't, then call in a team of professional cleaners – from door handles to bathroom cabinets, there isn't a place germs can hide from the real experts.
