Get the paint out of your carpet

Alternatively, if you have kids they may try their hand at some artwork since the bad weather is keeping them inside.
Either way, there's a risk that one way or another paint could get on your carpet, which can be a real pain to try and remove. Don't worry though, it is possible to get your carpets looking as good as new again.
Wet paint is much easier to clean than dry paint, as long as you act quickly. Start by removing as much of the paint as you can, making sure not to spread it and make the stain worse. Like all stains, make sure to dab rather than rub it.
When you've cleaned up as much of it as you can, use a mixture of warm water and detergent to blot up the remaining paint. Continue with this method until the paint is gone.
Dry paint is harder to remove than wet. It requires the same cleaning process, but you made need to use a blunt knife or the side of a spoon to scrape off the rest. Be careful though, you don't want to damage your carpet by doing this!
If this method doesn't work, then we advise hiring a carpet cleaning company to give your carpets a professional clean. Professional cleaners have much more experience removing tough stains from carpets, and have top quality equipment and products available to get your carpet looking as good as new.
