There is so much to cover, so let’s get to it.
The Oven
The oven is one of the important places that needs more attention in the home. Are you wondering why it is that important? It is because there would be lots of cooking and lots of roasting. Therefore, your oven needs extra cleaning because there might be food spills on it. Apart from that, the grease that might have stuck to it from previous cooking needs to be cleaned off thoroughly because of odours that might affect the new meat you will put on it. To clean it, you need some absorbing clothes and detergent. First, wash it clean, rinse and allow the sun to dry it up. Then you can prepare for the biggest holiday that is on the way.
Sofas and Chairs
This is another aspect that needs the best concentration in the home. Your sofas go through a lot, and if they don’t, they still need some attention. That is why you need to penetrate the hiding places in the chairs for crumbs of food that might have been hidden there for a while, dust, and sweep them out. After that, use an absorbent cloth to clean them by adding little water to the cloth.
Front Closet
No visitor would be excited coming into your home to find a choked-up closet. The holiday is almost around, and many people will be visiting. It is then expected for you to clear your closet and clean it in preparation for your visitors to have enough space to hand their personal effects such as coats and boots since it will be winter. After the clearing, a proper cleaning needs to be put in place.
The Bathroom/ Restroom
Since your visitors may be staying they will need to use the restroom and the bathroom. That is why these two places need to be properly taken care of. Wash the floor and the walls of the bathroom. Add disinfectant to the water and rinse well. First, arrange the equipment and place the soap, sponges, paste, and the new brushes at the necessary place, hang the towels and make sure that they are new because visitors are coming. Make sure your bathroom and the restroom are sparkly clean that makes it attractive to your visitors.
Windows and doors
You need to pay some attention to them because it is a dry season and the weather is always hazy. You need to clean your windows and doors to look clean, especially if they are glass. Your visitors will be impressed when they come around. To clean them, get a bowl of water and add a little detergent and glass cleaner. Do some thorough dusting first before using your piece of cloth and water to finish the process.
The Kitchen
The kitchen is one of the major focuses that will frequently be at work during the holiday. There will be lots of cooking, and we are sure you wouldn’t like your visitors entering your kitchen and finding it in a messy state. Therefore, you need to keep it clean. Bring out all the plates on your racks and wash them thoroughly as well as other utensils. Not only that, your fridge needs to be cleaned with a piece of cloth and water. All the food items need to be taken out first and washed. Allow it to air for a long time before returning those items and arrange them well. Mop the floor and clean the wall as well.
The Living Room
It is one of the first places to encounter when coming into your home, and it needs to be cleaned. First of all, clean your electrical appliances, wash your curtains, and vacuum your rug. If it is made of tiles, mop it thoroughly with soapy water and mop with clean water after that.
The Beds
Your visitors may sleepover perhaps for some days so you need to do your best to make them welcome. Remove the bed sheets and wash them thoroughly. Dry them and make them maybe a day before to receive your anticipated visitors. You would be glad that they would love to relax and sleep on your well-arranged bed.
The Rooms
It is not only about the bed, but the room must also be neat In preparation for your visitors. They would be travelling from far and near and would love to be received by a neat and conducive room. Arrange the bookshelves, the racks, get the curtain washed, sweep, mop the floor.
The outside space
Welcome your visitors to an environment with flowers that are well-trimmed, and tree branches cut off neatly. It is a season of joy, and the fresh air needs to flow without being choked up. Clean your flower pots and water them, arrange your climbers and get the walkways beautified and decorated with outdoor lights and decorations for that extra special welcome.
